Urban mobility and air pollution is becoming an increasingly larger problem in metropoles all over the world. More than half of the world’s population lives in urban areas, and by 2050 the urban population is projected to grow with another 2.5 billion people globally. This growing urbanization could ultimately increase pollution, damage citizens health and make it more difficult for people to get around. We want to be a part of the solution for this problem – — make it easier for people to move through the city in a quick, easy and sustainable way.
We want to utilize Copenhagen’s global image as a sustainable, environment-friendly and dynamic city for bicycling.
Bicycling represents the future of transportation. It is cheap, it’s healthy, it’s less stressful, it’s fast, it’s extremely environment-friendly and it gives unique mobility even in the largest cities. In Denmark, bicycles are the most popular mean of transportation and up to 50% of all Copenhageners use their bike as their preferred mean of transportation to get to and from work every day. A city’s live ability is highly connected to urban mobility and we want to use Copenhagen’s global image to communicate this to the rest of the world.
We want to create classic, elegant and simple bicycles that builds on the history of Copenhagen and fulfills the current and future mobility-needs of metropoles around the world.
Cycling is a sustainable and dynamic way of getting from A to B. We want to help more people use the bicycle as their preferred mean of transportation in their everyday life. In order to do so, we want to create a unique series of bicycles that are elegant, classic and simple to use. This includes both normal bicycles and electric bicycles.
